GIRLS HOSTEL

It has been a commitment of Delhi Public School Digboi to provide top class quality education, world class infrastructure and multiple opportunities for the DPS student to grow in a congenial environment most suitable for their all round development. To take this commitment to a wider section of students, School opened its hostel facilities for girls from class III to XII. Presently the hostel can accommodate 100 students

The hostels are located within the campus of the school. The surroundings are well maintained with lush green gardens and is surrounded by concrete walls. Round-the-clock security ensures a safe haven for the students.

The students are placed in well furnished  rooms shared by 10 students of the same class. Each student also has a personal amenities  like study table, almirah, bed etc. which makes handling of the belongings easy and safe. Apart from this, every room is equipped with individual study table and chair to facilitate uninterrupted studies.

The hostel is equipped with all essential facilities, to make the stay for students comfortable and homely. A well maintained, hygienic and well-furnished mess with expert cooks serving children healthy sumptuous food is another attraction of the hostel.  

The children follow a prescribed schedule, which is strictly adhered to in order to bring about discipline in their routine and create a healthy routine for a lifetime. It starts with the Jogging in the morning and ends with evening sports and special subject coaching.

Their weekends are scheduled with unlimited fun & frolic with indoor & outdoor activities, cultural programmes, campfire, adventure outings, picnics & leisure hours in order to support the holistic development and incorporate societal values among themselves. This results in a homely atmosphere across the hostel and a secure and reassuring environment for children. Hostel Warden resides within the hostel round-the-clock ensuring utmost personal attention towards the student all round development. Workshops, seminars, counseling are organized time to time under the guidance of efficient  resource persons in their respective areas.
