COMPUTER LAB

Computer has become an integral part of our life to an extent that it is inseparable. It now finds its use in every aspect of human existence. Soon a time will come when every man on this planet will need to be computer savvy to be able to stay one step ahead or at least neck to neck in this competitive world. The above requirement can be fulfilled at a place known as computer lab where we can do hands-on practical to learn and understand the concepts and logics of various softwares and applications in a very efficient manner. Without a lab, a person will only have theoretical knowledge which won’t suffice as in today’s world practical’s are more important than theory. So it would be apt to say that the lab is a workshop which helps in developing our brains where we learn by doing and not just by mere reading.

The school is proud to have well developed computer labs wherein students will get plenty of opportunities to work separately. Internet facility is also available and will be used in the supervision of the computer educator.

SCIENCE LABORATORIES

The school has well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology wherein the students are encouraged to learn through experiments and understand various concepts beyond their books away from the conventional classroom teaching. Every year these labs are furnished with the latest instruments, specimens, charts etc.

Science lab equipments allow students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts, thus making teaching and learning easy both for the teachers, as well as for the students. There are several scientific theories and concepts that are difficult to explain directly from the books.

Children develop interest in scientific research in science labs. When they observe various things and carry out different experiments, their reasoning skills are honed and they start thinking deeply on those theories and concepts.

Physics Lab:

The Physics Laboratory provides an opportunity to think of a concept and learn the concepts during the process of working and equip the   students better in terms of psycho-motor skills. It is important to do practical work in Physics especially for those aiming at career in research .Physics laboratory in DPS,Greater Noida provides the students the necessary laboratory equipments and manual assistance .

Chemistry Lab: 

 Chemistry which is a branch of science that deals with formation and breaking of bonds require enough  experimentation to prove the principles behind various phenomenon. Chemistry lab is spacious, airy and equipped with all possible facilities required for demonstration or experimentation at each level. Students are made to visit the lab on regular basis to make them inquisitive and to create an aptitude for science. Attempt is made to ensure that activities are either demonstrated by the teachers or conducted by the students on their own. Class X and class XII are given rigorous practice on the practicals . It contains Distillation assembly, centrifuge, chemical balance, apparatus and chemicals from reputed companies.

Biology Lab:       

 Like a piece of iron attracted to magnet, students are also mesmerized just by the sight of the bio lab. The lab is well equipped with all sorts of   equipments, preserved specimens to living diversity of plants animals and microbes. The availability of dissecting, compound and projection microscope help students to satisfy their inquisitiveness about microscopic things. The high quality charts,Skeleton and models on almost every essential topic are available to make studies visually aided rather than simply theoretical thereby helping to retain the gained knowledge forever.

 With the help of qualified faculty and knowledgeable lab assistant students quench their thirst of inquisitiveness and curiosity here The lab gives students an opportunity to perform practical and leaves a huge impact on their naïve minds to evoke in them the ideas and potential to explore more and experiment more in the field.
